Omphalos

A mythological adventure featuring tactical coin-based combat.

Omphalos is an independent game inspired by Greek mythology, Mediterranean folklore and classic adventure games.

This prototype focuses on two core systems:

• Exploration of a constellation-shaped world map.
• Tactical turn-based combat based on ancient coins.

Face creatures drawn from myth and legend, equip new items and experiment with different strategies as you travel through the stars.

Planned Features

The full project will expand beyond combat.

Players will investigate mysteries, meet the inhabitants of Omphalos, gather information, manage resources and uncover the hidden relationship between mortals, monsters and the Muses themselves.

Planned systems include:

• Narrative investigations.
• Character interactions and interviews.
• Village exploration.
• Economy and resource management.
• Expanded progression systems.
• New enemies, equipment and locations.

Development Status

This is an early prototype intended to test gameplay systems and gather feedback.

Many graphics, animations, sounds and mechanics are still work in progress.
